PawseWhy we created Pawse
We're a group of friends who grew up in a world shaped by rapidly evolving technology and social media. At some point, we realised that the very technology designed to make our lives easier was starting to take away our attention and peace of mind.
We tried different solutions, but none of them delivered the results we were hoping for. Eventually, we realised that the problem wasn't a lack of willpower. It was the fact that our phones were always within reach, and a single tap was all it took to get pulled back into endless scrolling.
That's how Pawse was born: a physical barrier between you and your distractions. A cute little cat companion that you need to interact with intentionally before opening the apps that take up your time.
We believe life is better when our phones help us spend more time doing what matters, rather than constantly distracting us with things that don't. We don't want you to put your phone away in a drawer. We want you to reach for it when you genuinely want to, not simply out of habit. Pawse adds an extra layer between you and your apps, turning an automatic reflex into a conscious choice.
